BREAKING: Following Guilty Verdict, Trump's Sentencing Hearing To Take Place Days Before Republican National Convention

On Thursday, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, Donald J. Trump, was found guilty on all counts by the 12-person New York jury in the business fraud case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D). Following the verdict, Judge Juan Merchan set Trump's sentencing hearing for July 11th, just days before he is set to be nominated at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The convention will begin on July 15th and conclude on July 18th when delegates from across the country nominate Trump to be the GOP's nominee for president. "Sentencing is 4 days before the GOP Convention...They're not even trying to hide the ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!!" Donald Trump Jr. wrote on X.

Trump spoke to the press following the guilty verdict, explaining that he will continue to fight in the courts. "This was a disgrace. This was a rigged trial by a conflicted judge who's corrupt. This is a rigged trial, a disgrace. They wouldn't give us a venue change. We were at five percent or six percent in this district, in this area. This was a rigged, disgraceful trial," he said. "The real verdict is going to be November 5th by the people, and they know what happened here. Everyone knows what happened here. You have a Soros-backed DA, and the whole thing, we didn't do a thing wrong."

"I'm a very innocent man, and it's okay. I'm fighting for our country and I'm fighting for our Constitution," Trump continued. "Our whole country is being rigged right now. This was done by the Biden administration in order to wound or hurt a political opponent, and I think it is just a disgrace. We will keep fighting."

"We will fight to the end, and we will win because our country has gone to hell. We don't have the same country anymore,' the 45th president explained. "We have a divided mess, and we are a nation in a serious decline. Millions and millions of people are pouring into our country right now from prisons and from mental institutions, terrorists. They are taking over our country. We have a country that is in big trouble, but this was a rigged decision right from day one from a convicted judge who should have never been allowed to try this case. Never. We will fight for our Constitution. This is long from over."

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.
