This Tuesday, the Department of Justice announced they would be charging Hunter Biden, son of Joe Biden, with two misdemeanors related to taxes and a felony for the illegal possession of a firearm.
In a lfiling obtained by Axios, Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to the two tax misdemeanors. He also entered into a probation agreement for illegally possessing a firearm.
According to Axios, "the maximum penalty for the gun charge is 10 years in jail and a fine of $250,000."
The New York Times reports that, "the Justice Department would charge Mr. Biden but agree not to prosecute him in connection with his purchase of a handgun in 2018 during a period when he was using drugs. The deal would be contingent on Mr. Biden remaining drug free for 24 months and agreeing never to own a firearm again."

This is a developing story, and Hunter Biden's misdeeds will surely stay in the news for some time.
