According to The New York Post, Biden's lawyer Abbe Lowell claimed Trump's tweets preceding the January 6th Capitol Riot as a basis for thoroughly debunked theories that he inspired violence that day.
In a letter obtained by ABC News, the attorney referenced the also unrelated attack on Paul Pelosi, husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and the unrelated arrest of a man with a stockpile of weapons near the home of former President Barack Obama.
"This is not a false alarm," Lowell wrote. "We are just one such social media message away from another incident, and you should make clear to Mr. Trump -- if you have not done so already -- that Mr. Trump’s words have caused harm in the past and threaten to do so again if he does not stop."
Alluding to the allegations that the cocaine reportedly found in the White House belonged to Hunter, Lowell wrote,
"You know, if Mr. Trump does not, that Mr. Biden has neither committed nor been accused of the charges that your client is claiming ... and that the Biden family was not at the White House (let alone in the vestibule) in the period when the cocaine was found."
The attorney continued noting that the Trump legal team, "need not respond," but asked they express to the 45th President "how his incitement can further hurt people and cause himself even more legal trouble," in what could charitably be described as an extremely thinly veiled legal threat.Just hours before, Trump posted to his TruthSocial account a brief missive regarding the closure of the Secret Service investigation into the cocaine discovery with no arrests.
"It has just been announced that the “investigation” of Cocaine in the White House has ended. Despite all of the cameras pointing directly at the “scene of the crime,” and the greatest forensics anywhere in the World, they just can’t figure it out? They know the answer, and so does everyone else! In the meantime, they continue to target and investigate me, for years, in what has been called the greatest Witch Hunt of all time - Over NOTHING!!! ELECTION INTERFERENCE & a Two Tier Level of Justice."
As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, the White House has categorically refused to offer any real answers regarding the scandal.

first off, we have learned of the cocain found at the white house from the news. And the news shows biden and hunter leaving the white house to get on marine one friday afternoon, so they left the white house friday afternoon to go to camp David, thats when hunter left the cocain behind. So to say they werent there is a bold face Lie! The American people are not stupid, you are if you think we cant put two and two together!...There is noway a yone is getting anything like that in the white house unless your the bidens!
