BREAKING: Hunter Biden Walks Out Of Hearing After Being Confronted By House Republicans - 'What A Coward'

On Wednesday, Hunter Biden and his attorneys made a surprise appearance on Capitol Hill ahead of the contempt of Congress vote set to take place in the House Oversight Committee after the president's son failed to appear for a deposition last month.

The House Judiciary Committee, led by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), is also holding a similar meeting to debate holding Hunter in contempt, which makes the president's son appearance, alongside his lawyers Abbe Lowell and Kevin Morris, a surprise that few were expecting.

Hunter and his entourage entered the hearing room and sat in the audience for the beginning of the hearing, where Chairman James Comer (R-KY) explained Hunter's wrongdoing. "Our investigation has produced significant evidence suggesting President Biden knew of, participated in, and benefited from his family cashing in on the Biden name," Comer said, per Fox News. "We planned to question Hunter Biden about this record of evidence during our deposition, but he blatantly defied two lawful subpoenas."

"Hunter Biden's willful refusal to comply with the committees' subpoenas is a criminal act" that "constitutes contempt of Congress and warrants referral to the appropriate United States Attorney's Office for prosecution as prescribed by law," he continued. "We will not provide Hunter Biden with special treatment because of his last name. All Americans must be treated equally under the law. And that includes the Bidens."

Other lawmakers were then given several minutes to address Hunter. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) told the audience that Hunter was "too afraid" to appear for a deposition and that Democrats are hypocritical if they do not support holding him in contempt.

"Hunter Biden, you were too afraid to show up for a deposition, and you still can't today. I believe that Hunter Biden should be held completely in contempt. I think he should be hauled off to jail right now because it wasn't long ago, to, my friends on the other side of the aisle, that you also believed of the power of congressional subpoena," Rep. Mace said. "Not long ago at all. You believed in holding those who refused to comply with a congressional subpoena accountable, and I stood with each and every one of you. I am the only member in this room today who has held a member of my own party in contempt of Congress for not showing up for a subpoena, and I see nothing but complete hypocrisy on the other side of the aisle."

While Hunter stayed for Comer's opening statement and several other members, he quickly walked out when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) began to speak, leading to her berating him as he exited the room. "Excuse me, Hunter. Apparently, you are afraid of my words," Greene said. "I think it's clear and obvious for everyone watching this hearing today that Hunter Biden is terrified of strong, conservative, Republican women because he can't even face my words as I was about to speak to him. What a coward."
