BREAKING: James Comer Subpoenas Hunter, James Biden In Impeachment Inquiry

On Wednesday, Hosue Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) took a consequential step in the ongoing impeachment inquiry of President Joe Biden after multiple investigations discovered potentially corrupt activity that has led to the funneling of over $22 million in the Biden family coffers from foreign countries.

Comer, who has been at the forefront of investigations into Biden, officially subpoenaed Hunter Biden, James Biden, and Rob Walker to appear before Congress. Comer also requested interviews with Sara Biden, Hallie Biden, Elizabeth Secundy, Melissa Cohen, and Tony Bobulinski.

Earlier this year, former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) launched an impeachment inquiry into President Biden that was to be led by Rep. Comer, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO). The duo has uncovered a treasure trove of evidence against the Bidens, including over $22 million in payments from businessmen in Romania, Kazakstan, Ukraine, China, and other nations, as well as a $40,000 direct payment from James Biden to Joe Biden. 

Given these facts, the case for Biden's impeachment is growing by the day, and Comer wishes to follow through with a full proceeding.

"I think he should [be impeached], but that's going to be left up to the speaker," Comer explained on 'Sunday Morning Futures.' "People ask me why I haven't put someone in jail yet. All I can do is investigate. The House of Representatives can determine whether or not to impeach. But, at the end of the day, we're going to need an attorney general who does the right thing and prosecutes people according to the law and doesn't have a two-tier system of justice."
