On Wednesday, renowned television show host Jerry Springer passed away at 79-years-old.
Springer hosted ‘The Jerry Springer Show’ for 27 years which led to some of the most famous episodes in television history.
The talk show host became a national sensation after his show began airing in 1991 leading it to smash ratings records before the show concluded in 2018.
According to TMZ, a family spokesman said that Springer was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and he fell increasingly ill in recent weeks.
The host passed away in his Chicago area home surrounded by his family.
