On Monday, a federal judge imposed a limited gag order, handed down by Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, on leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump that prevents him from calling out the blatant bias exemplified in the courtroom, a fact that is prevalent in police state's across the world.
According to the New York Times, President Trump will be barred from criticizing via public statements the witnesses, prosecutors, and court staff involved in the 2020 elections case brought against him. This would include lead prosecutor Jack Smith.
The order does still allow Trump to go after the Justice Department, the Biden administration, and his various political rivals as long as those remarks do not connect with the 2020 election case brought by Smith.
In response to the decision, conservatives from across the political spectrum took to social media to tear apart Judge Chutkan's decision as emblematic of a authoritarian, police state.
"Terrifying, republic-destroying attack on free elections, freedom of speech as judge prohibits leading GOP contender from talking about the corruption of his government opponents, or criticizing the government that seeks to imprison him for political differences," wrote Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway.
"Judge Tanya Chutkan, an Obama appointee, just imposed a gag order on Donald Trump," wrote journalist Julie Kelly. "He will not be allowed to comment about Special Counsel Jack Smith or his staff, court staff (not sure if that means her) and 'potential witnesses' in the case."
"She will file full order later today. Chutkan claimed her order was to prevent Trump from launching a 'pre trial smear campaign' that poses a 'danger to the administration of justice.' I’m sure Trump will immediately appeal but no high hopes for DC Circuit to reverse," she explained. "This means the next few months before trial will be filled with motions and hearings related to allegations by DOJ that Trump violated the order. A massive contempt trap in addition to the unprecedented silencing of a candidate for president."
This gag order is yet another example of how America's growing police state is taking action against the leading opponent to President Biden. Filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza sought to expose the burgeoning authoritarianism seen in the country in his upcoming documentary 'Police State.'

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, D'Souza is looking to expose the burgeoning tyrannical government in his upcoming blockbuster documentary 'Police State.'
As outlined on policestatefilm.net, the film is set to release to theaters across America for showings on October 23 and October 25. There will also be a virtual screening later in the month on October 27.
The film, produced by D’Souza Media LLC, focuses on the weaponization of the judicial system against conservative and Christian Americans.
"'Police State' is a movie that I never wanted to make, because I never wanted America to get to a point where a movie like this needed to be made," D'Souza says about his film on its website. "I feel like the animal that alerts the herd to approaching danger, so we can take precautionary steps before it’s too late."
The documentary was made in collaboration with conservative commentator and former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino and features actor Nick Searcy.
"The police state isn’t coming, it’s already here," Bongino said. "The signs are everywhere. And once you recognize them, your senses will be heightened to the danger we’re all in.”
"The relentless persecution of political opponents by the party in power is a hallmark of totalitarian countries," Searcy added about the current state of political persecution in America. "In a police state, the only real crime is daring to question the State. America is now a police state.”
The documentary includes interviews with prominent conservative leaders including Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), former Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, and others.
