BREAKING: Marjorie Taylor Greene Announces Plan To Get Radical Democrat 'Locked Up' After Pulling Fire Alarm

On Monday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) announced that she is working with House Republicans to send a criminal referral to the Department of Justice regarding Rep. Jamaal Bowman's (D-NY) dangerous stunt on Saturday where he pulled a fire alarm in order to delay the passing of a continuing resolution meant to avoid a government shutdown.

During her interview with Johnson, the Georgia lawmaker slammed the New York Democrat for the dangerous stunt that caused her to evacuate alongside her staff.

"Jamaal can't like his way out of this one. We all know where the tunnels are to get to the Capitol to go vote," she said. "He may be a freshman in Congress but he's been here too long to lie about going out that door."

"Being a middle school principal,... he knows exactly what fire alarms do and he knows that he's breaking federal law when you pull one for a stunt like he pulled," Greene explained.

The lawmaker explained that Democrats were attempting to delay the vote on the spending measure as much as possible in order to ensure that the Senate could replace Ukraine war funding into the bill. Part of those delay tactics, Greene claims, is Bowman's decision to pull the alarm.

"He definitely interrupted our proceedings in Congress and he broke the exact same law that is being used against not only many January 6th defendants but President Trump himself have been charged with that law," she said. "Jamaal Bowman should be locked up. US Attorney Matthew Graves and the Department of Justice should be charging him and going after him the same way he is going after January 6th defendants every single day."

"There needs to be a criminal referral to the Department of Justice and that will have to come through one of our committees," she said. "I know we will be talking about that today in Washington."

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Bowman attempted to explain himself on Monday after House Republicans called for his expulsion from the House, McCarthy directed the House Ethics Committee to launch an investigation, and some, like Greene, pushed for charges.

"I don't know why this has gotten so much attention. I was literally just in a rush to go vote, man! That's all it was!" Bowman said to a Fox News reporter.

"I take responsibility for what I did, you know. But like I said I was in a rush to go vote and, you know, the investigation will sort everything else out," he said, adding that he has spoken with House Minority Leader Hakeen Jefferies (D-NY) about the matter.

While Bowman continues to attempt to lie his way out of consequences, the proof is almost irrefutable. Capitol Police has him on camera pulling the alarm and he should face reprecussions for endangering his fellow lawmakers and staff.
