WATCH: Massive Gun Battle Erupts Along Texas Border As Chaos Takes Hold With End Of Title 42, Mexican Army Engages Militants

A new video from RawsAlerts posted on Twitter depicts a dramatic gun battle unfolding at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge at the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas. The outlet citing Mexican media reports stated that a shooting took place between "‘elements of the army and armed civilians.'" Three people have reportedly been killed with an unknown number injured.

RawsAlerts posted the alarming video at 1:24 P.M. PST writing, "Currently the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge, a key border crossing linking Texas and Mexico, is experiencing a substantial outburst of gunfire, leading to individuals seeking shelter. As Several people have been reportedly been shot with unconfirmed reports suggest at least 3 people have been killed."
 

 
An update posted minutes later reported the involvement of the Mexican Army.
 
Mexican outlet, Adn40 was cited by Mirror.co.uk reporting that three criminals were killed, "Apparently the confrontation occurred between elements of the army and armed civilians; the preliminary balance is three alleged criminals killed."
   

The RawsAlert footage shows what appears to be a military vehicle speeding along the shoreline beneath the bridge as the shots continued to ring out.

The Mirror reported that a witness shared an image of a stray bullet with the caption,
 
The UK outlet reported that local media reports suggested that the conflict was between Mexican authorities following the arrest of 'La Pawa,' the regional leader of the Los Zetas cartel.
