On Monday, a new batch of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein revealed that the convicted sex trafficker made secret recordings of former President Bill Clinton, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, and Prince Andrew having sex, according to claims by Epstein victim Sarah Ransome. The release of the documents is the result of an order from Manhattan Federal Judge Loretta Preska, who forced the unsealing of the documents in the defamation case brought by Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre against convicted Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
In the unsealed documents, Ransome explained that Epstein would film her "friend "having sex with the well-known men. However, she went on to explain that "Epstein was not seen in any of the footage... he was clever like that!" According to The Sun, Ransome's friend allegedly got a hold of the tapes. The Epstein victim claimed the same thing back in 2016 when she sent an email to journalist Maureen Callahan.
"My friend had sexual intercourse with Clinton, Prince Andrew and Richard Branson, sex tapes were in fact filmed on each separate occassion," she wrote in the email. "I eventually managed to persuade her to send me some of the video footage which she kept, implicating all three men."
"I have backed up the footage on several USB sticks and have securely sent them to various different locations throughout Europe," she added. Ransome went on to explain that the filming took place in Epstein's New York property. She also claims that 45th President Donald Trump was involved with "many girls," including her friend.
The potential existence of tapes is likely bad news for the three men accused of being particularly close with Jeffrey Epstein. Former President Bill Clinton has particularly been in the public eye in recent days after another Epstein victim, Johanna Sjoberg, told investigators in the documents that Epstein told her that Clinton liked younger girls. During Sjoberg's questioning by Virginia Giuffre's lawyer, Sigrid McCawley, the victim was asked if she knew whether or not Epstein had a relationship with the 42nd president.
"I knew he had dealings with Bill Clinton," Sjoberg said, as reported by Fox News Digital. "I did not know they were friend until I read the Vanity Fair article about them going to Africa together."
"Did Jeffrey ever talk to you about Bill Clinton?" McCawley questioned, to which Sjober replied, "He said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls."
While President Clinton has not been proven to have engaged in any wrongdoing alongside Jeffrey Epstein, the statements by Sjoberg could prove to be damaging to Clinton's perception in the public eye. In 2019, Clinton spokesman Angel Urena denied the accusations that Bill Clinton had a close relationship with Epstein.
"President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York," the statement from Clinton's spokesman reads. "In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein's airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation."
"Staff, supporters of the Foundation, and his Secret Service detail traveled on every leg of every trip. He had one meeting with Epstein in his Harlem office in 2002, and around the same time made one brief visit to Epstein's New York apartment with a staff member and his security detail," Clinton's statement continued. "He's not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade, and has never been to Little St. James Island, Epstein's ranch in New Mexico, or his residence in Florida."
