BREAKING: Newly Revealed Emails Reveal Hunter Biden At The Center Of Plan To 'Close Down' Shokin's Investigation Of Burisma

On Tuesday, The Daily Mail published multiple emails showing Hunter Biden worked alongside Democrat strategists to 'close down' any investigations into the owners of Burisma Holdings led by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's office while he was on the board of the company.

According to The Daily Mail, Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi emailed the president's son on May 12, 2014, the day before his official appointment to the board, warning him that the firm's owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, was currently under investigation by the Ukrainian government.

"We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message / signal, etc to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions," Pozharskyi wrote. "In case we don't cooperate i.e. provide money in cash the gas production business of [Zlochevsky] would be stopped. After unsuccessful attempts to receive funds from our side, they proceeded with concrete actions."

In response to this email, Hunter worked with his Democrat-connected law firm that he was employed with, Boies, Schiller, & Flexner, to craft a response.

"It would be helpful to gain intelligence on who is leading the restructuring the individuals being considered for those posts," Hunter wrote to colleagues at the law firm in order to ascertain who the staffers running the investigation in the prosecutor general's office were.

After Zlochevsky paid a $7 million bribe to Ukrainian officials to sabotage a US-UK investigation into Burisma in 2014, the executive was once again faced with investigations from newly-appointed Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin in 2015.

In response to the new investigation into the company, Pozharsky once again turned to Hunter for assistance which led to the First Son setting up Burisma with Blue Star Strategies, a firm led by former Clinton staffers.

While the Burisma executive was at first not impressed with the firm given that it was not going to lobby US diplomats to stop the investigation, Hunter later indicated that he didn't want to put that in writing given that he would have to register a foreign agent.

"I would tell Vadym that this is definitely done deliberately to be on the safe and cautious side and that Sally [Painter, Blue Star COO] and company understand the scope and deliverables," Hunter's business partner Eric Schwerin wrote privately to Hunter, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Following an additional back-and-forth conversation between Burisma and the firm, Hunter and his partners got to work lobbying State Department officials, an act that eventually led to them being investigated for not registering under the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA).

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, previous congressional testimony from Devon Archer revealed that Hunter was brought on to the board of Burisma in order to reinforce "the brand" that was the Biden last name.

Archer told the House Oversight Committee that Hunter would regularly put his father on speaker phone, at least on 20 separate occasions, with his business associates. This would prove to Hunter's associates that he had direct access to one of the most powerful men in the world and thus emphasize Hunter's ability to get things done, something that was clearly impressed upon the Burisma executives when they wanted to deal with Shokin.

In addition to pushing his firm to lobby on Burisma's behalf, Hunter also worked with the Burisma executives to "call D.C." when they pressed Biden to have his father step in. In response, then-Vice President Biden allegedly withheld a billion-dollar loan from the Ukrainian government to force them to fire Shokin.

The newly revealed emails once again reinforce the idea that Hunter and Joe Biden used their connections, and potentially Joe's office, to end the Burisma investigation in order to benefit their business partners. These are damning allegations and House Republicans should open an impeachment inquiry to reinforce their investigations into the Biden Crime Family.
