BREAKING: Pentagon Reveals Reason For Secretary Of Defense's Secret Hospitalization

On Tuesday, officials at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center revealed to the public why Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was secretly hospitalized earlier this year for several days without the White House's knowledge. According to officials, Austin is currently battling prostate cancer, and he was recovering from complications from surgery during the week he was hospitalized.  

During his hospitalization, the Pentagon failed to notify the White House about Austin's hospitalization because the Secretary of Defense's chief of staff was reportedly out sick, leaving the president without access to his top military official for days if needed in case of a national security emergency.
