On Tuesday afternoon, 45th President Donald Trump arrived in downtown Manhattan to surrender to authorities at the Manhattan Criminal Court House for his scheduled arraignment at 2:15 p.m. EST.
The leading 2024 Republican candidate left Trump Tower at around 1:10 p.m. en route to the courthouse.
The motorcade to take him to Lower Manhattan consisted of a dozen vehicles including vehicles from the Police Department’s Highway Patrol, several U.S. Secret Service vehicles, two limousines, and multiple staff cars.
During his travel to the courthouse, Trump took to Truth Social writing, “Heading to Lower Manhattan, the Courthouse. Seems so SURREAL — WOW, they are going to ARREST ME. Can’t believe this is happening in America. MAGA!”

TRUMP HIRES ‘ADDITIONAL FIREPOWER’ FOR LEGAL DEFENSE AS ARRAIGNMENT LOOMS
At the courthouse, NYPD has secured the perimeter as helicopters fly overhead and supporters, detractors, and the press alike gather outside the courthouse.
Trump is not expected to be put in handcuffs or have his mugshot taken, according to Yahoo News.
Following his arraignment, Trump is expected to head back to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida where he will deliver remarks.
