BREAKING: The New York Post Barred From Attending White House Event Allegedly For Coverage Of Biden Family Scandal

On Monday, the White House press office banned the New York Post from attending President Biden’s Monday daytime public event, likely due to the New York Post’s reporting on the Hunter Biden scandal.

The New York Post released an article Monday afternoon detailing their exclusion from the event. The Post highlighted their recent coverage of the president's ties to his relative's foreign dealings as well as the Hunter Biden laptop fiasco.

The Post received an email Monday, in which they quoted the White House Staff stating, “We are unable to accommodate your credential request to attend the Investing in Airline Accountability Remarks on 5/8. The remarks will be live-streamed and can be viewed at WH.gov. Thank you for understanding. We will let you know if a credential becomes available.”

The Post says that the email does not give a specific reason for their exclusion from the event, however, the outlet does mention how in the past the White House has used the excuse of “space limitations” as a way to justify prescreening of reporters that are let into large presidential events.  This comes after Biden denied reporter questions on Friday by claiming that he would be hosting a “major news conference,” which only turned out to be an interview with MSNBC. During the interview, Stephanie Ruhle was about as inquisitive and hard on Biden as the bring-your-child-to-work-day reporters.

According to a previous New York Post article, 73 journalists that represented nearly two-thirds of White House briefing room seats signed a letter demanding that the White House end the pre-screening for events. Nonetheless, the pre-screening has remained in place and there has still been no official response from the White House.

The refusal to invite the New York Post comes as no notable surprise. Since the Post has increasingly become critical of Biden and his dealing during and before his presidency, they would not be a welcomed presence for a president who can only handle softball questions.

Were the Post to ask anything that required Biden or his team to give a legitimate, thought-out answer, it would bring catastrophe to the entire event. So far, Biden has failed to provide any meaningful information at press events, only providing soft, empty answers to spoon-fed questions that paint a false narrative around his horrendous administration.

It’s still good to see the New York Post continue to push on the Biden family scandal, regardless of whether the White House press office plans on barring them from attending. Answers must come first, whether Biden intends to do it willingly or under oath.
