BREAKING: Donald Trump Is Furious After Biden Gives Away $6 Billion To Iran On 9/11 Anniversary - 'It Sets A TERRIBLE Precedent'

On Tuesday morning, leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump voiced his anger on Truth Social after the Biden administration agreed to a prisoner swap with Iran that led to $6 billion being released to the radical Islamic regime on the anniversary of 9/11.

The deal would allow for $6 billion in frozen funds to be unsanctioned by international banks that were the result of oil sales from countries like South Korea and Qatar, per Newsweek. In addition to releasing the money, the Biden administration will also be handing over five Iranians in American custody.

In response to the move, President Trump has called for Republicans to take action following the terrible deal.

"So, lets get this straight! We did a hostage TRADE with Iran," Trump began. "We gave them 5 very tough, smart people that they desperately wanted. We likewise got back 5 people BUT, we also gave them 6 BILLION DOLLARS!"

"How much of a kickback does Crooked Joe Biden get?" Trump asked. "Does anyone realize how much money 6 Billion Dollars is? When I was President, I got back 58 hostages for ZERO money. Remember Pastor Brunson?"

"It sets a TERRIBLE precedent," the 45th president explained. "Republicans, call out the 25th Amendment, NOW! Biden is INCOMPETENT!"

Congressional Republicans have called out President Biden for the terrible deal with Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) writing in a statement, “First Joe Biden used 9/11 as an excuse to flee Afghanistan. Now he desecrates this day by paying ransom to the world’s worst state sponsor of terrorism. Shameful."

“It’s ridiculous for US to be blackmailed into paying $6B for hostages which will help indirectly finance the number 1 foreign policy of Iran: terrorism Last time it was $1.7B traded for hostages next time it will probably be $10B the price keeps going up & up,” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) wrote.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) explained that Biden's move only incentivizes additional kidnapping of American citizens. “As sympathetic as we all are in having hostages released, it’s a short-term gain for exacerbating a long-term problem,” he said, per The Hill.

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.
