BREAKING: Trump Family Member Dies At 86 In Manhattan

On Monday, Maryanne Trump Barry, the older sister to 45th President Donald Trump, passed away at the age of 86 from cancer while in hospice care in her home in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Barry, a critic of her younger brother throughout her life, was found by neighbors early Monday morning. The cause of death is yet to be determined. She leaves behind her son, David William Desmond.

Barry was a longtime trial and appellate lawyer and served as a federal judge in New Jersey for many years after being appointed during the Reagan administration. She then retired from her post in 2019. Throughout the Trump administration, she reportedly held some influence over the former president; however, their relationship broke down after Mary L. Trump released a book and audio recordings critiquing the Republican frontrunner. The recordings included segments where Barry spoke ill of her younger brother.

The 45th president has experienced several personal losses in recent years, including the loss of his brother, Robert S. Trump, in 2020 and his first wife, Ivana Trump, in 2022, as reported by The New York Times. However, Trump still has a large family with five children, including Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Barron Trump. The 45th president also has ten grandchildren.

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.
