BREAKING: Trump Issues New Statement on Forthcoming Arraignment and Trial

On Tuesday morning, Trump took to Truth Social to condemn the political persecution currently underway by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) and explained that the venue in which the case is taking place is “unfair.”

“VERY UNFAIR VENUE, WITH SOME AREAS THAT VOTED 1% REPUBLICAN,” the 45th president began. “THIS CASE SHOULD BE MOVED TO NEARBY STATEN ISLAND – WOULD BE A VERY FAIR AND SECURE LOCATION FOR THE TRIAL.”

“ADDITIONALLY, THE HIGHLY PARTISAN JUDGE & HIS FAMILY ARE WELL KNOWN TRUMP HATERS,” he continued. “HE WAS AN UNFAIR DISASTER ON A PREVIOUS TRUMP RELATED CASE, WOULDN’T RECUSE, GAVE HORRIBLE JURY INSTRUCTIONS, & IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH DURING THE WITCH HUNT TRIAL. HIS DAUGHTER WORKED FOR ‘KAMALA’ & NOW THE BIDEN-HARRIS CAMPAIGN. KANGAROO COURT!!!”

“THE RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRATS HAVE CRIMINALIZED THE JUSTICE SYSTEM. THIS IS NOT WHAT AMERICA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE!” Trump added.

According to Yahoo News, Trump is expected to be charged with 34 felony counts during his arraignment on Tuesday afternoon for falsification of business records.

TRUMP COULD BE IMPRISONED BEFORE A TRIAL EVEN STARTS AMID POLITICAL PERSECUTION

The leading 2024 Republican candidate is not expected to be handcuffed or have his mugshot taken. Additionally, the arraignment will not be televised for public viewing.

Further complicating matters for Trump, however, is a potential gag order from Judge Juan Merchan to prevent him from speaking about the case.

Under New York law, the fine for breaking a gag order holds a penalty of either 30 days in jail or a $1,000 fine.

Trump’s defense lawyers will likely attempt to get the case dismissed by the presiding judge given the shaky legal foundation on which it rests. In the meantime, however, the country waits patiently to see what will unfold in the afternoon arraignment and what Trump will have to say in scheduled remarks at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday evening.
