BREAKING: Trump Makes Announcement On Georgia Election Fraud Press Conference, Clears The Air On Taking The Debate Stage

On Thursday evening, leading Republican presidential contender and 45th President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to make an announcement on the press conference that was planned to expose instances of election fraud in the state of Georgia on Monday. In addition, the leading GOP candidate also made a new statement on whether he would take the stage for the Republican debates on Wednesday.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Trump took to Truth on Tuesday morning to announce that he would be hosting a major press conference next week in response to Willis' indictment that he expects will fully exonerate him of his alleged crimes in Georgia.

"A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey," Trump wrote at the time. "Based on the results of this CONCLUSIVE Report, all charges should be dropped against me & others - There will be a complete EXONERATION!"

"They never went after those that Rigged the Election," he continued. "They only went after those that fought to find the RIGGERS!"

However, it appears that those plans have fallen through with Trump explaining that his lawyers have advised him to instead present those findings in the courtroom rather than the public square.

"Rather than releasing the Report on the Rigged & Stolen Georgia 2020 Presidential Election on Monday, my lawyers would prefer putting this, I believe, Irrefutable & Overwhelming evidence of Election Fraud & Irregularities in formal Legal Filings as we fight to dismiss this disgraceful Indictment by a publicity & campaign finance seeking D.A., who sadly presides over a record breaking Murder & Violent Crime area, Atlanta," the 45th president wrote on Thursday evening. "Therefore, the News Conference is no longer necessary!"

Trump, along with 18 other allies, was indicted for their actions following the 2020 election. Trump specifically saw a number of charges including "Violation Of The Georgia Rico (Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations) Act," "Solicitation Of Violation Of Oath By Public Officer," "Conspiracy To Commit False Statements and Writings" and "Conspiracy To Commit Forgery in the First Degree," as well as a number of other charges.

In addition to canceling the press conference, Trump also made a statement pertaining to his participation in the Wednesday GOP debate which many have assumed he would not be partaking in. His latest statement all but confirms that suspicion.

"Many people are asking whether or not I will be doing the DEBATES? ALL AMERICANS have been clamoring for a President of extremely High Intelligence. As everyone is aware, my Poll numbers, over a 'wonderful' field of Republican candidates, are extraordinary," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "In fact, I am leading the runner up, whoever that may now be, by more than 50 Points. Reagan didn’t do it, and neither did others. People know my Record, one of the BEST EVER, so why would I Debate? I’M YOUR MAN. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

While it would certainly be entertaining to see President Trump back on the debate stage like back in 2015, it is understandable why he would choose not to take the risk and give his opponents an opportunity to expend their ammo on him. With some polls showing him 40 points ahead, it is to his advantage to not show up to the debates.
