BREAKING: Trump Scores MAJOR Victory Against Jack Smith

On Friday, Judge Aileen Cannon passed down a ruling that agreed with 45th President Trump's legal team to delay the trial in Special Counsel Jack Smith's classified documents case against the former president.

The order handed down by Cannon explains that the "pre-trial deadlines temporarily stayed pending order to follow."

Journalist Julie Kelly explained that the ruling represents Cannon's effort to reign in the Biden Department of Justice after they attempted to hasten the trial in order for it to take place before the 2024 presidential election.

"You will see much caterwauling by corporate media types and usual suspects like Weissmann and McQuade how Cannon is doing Trump's bidding," Kelly wrote. "But the blame lies SOLELY at the feet of DOJ. Jack Smith brought 2 unprecedented federal cases against a former president within two months of each other. He asked for, and was granted, an expedited trial schedule in D.C. Judge Chutkan gave Trump 7 months to prepare for trial--the typical J6 case goes to trial over a year after indictment."

"The classified docs trial represents major obstacles to defense (Trump and 2 co-defendants) as they attempt to view classified discovery in a Miami SCIF the government just set up on October 18. All attorneys had to obtain security clearances," she explained. "Discovery is voluminous--1.3 million pages of unclassified, 5,500 pages of classified, and years' worth of security footage from Trump's properties."

According to the Post Millenial, Trump attorney Todd Blanche argued during the hearing that the timeline outlined by the prosecution was not realistic and that the thousands of hours of Mar-a-Lago footage, as well as the tens of thousands of documents that must be reviewed, will take considerable time. He also added that "it has been extremely difficult to have access" to the documents, given that they must go to a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) to view the documents.

"Further, Smith brought a superseding indictment in classified docs case several weeks after June indictment was handed down, adding another defendant and more charges against Trump," the journalist continued. "Smith is playing games--Chutkan lets him, Cannon doesn't. Which is why she has earned the enmity of corporate media and their 'expert' lapdogs."

As the DOJ continues to go after President Trump, judges like Aileen Cannon are still willing to put due process and the rule of law above the politically motivated persecution led by Jack Smith.

Previous presidents have had the ability to declassify anything found in sock drawers, Garages etc. etc., how come this one can't. As far as I'm concerned this case should've been dismissed on his lack of merit. He was president. When Biden had this stuff in his garage, he was a senator or vice president which neither has standing or right to declassify documents held in their possession.
