On Wednesday evening, leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump sat down with Tucker Carlson on his newly renamed show 'Tucker on X' for a hour long interview. The sit-down coincides with the Republican presidential debates hosted by Fox News.
During the interview, Carlson touched on a number of topics including Trump's decision to not attend the debates, his thoughts on the Republican field as well as his former Vice President Mike Pence, whether or not the country is moving towards "civil war," President Joe Biden, and the burden of his various indictments against him.
When asked about whether or not the country could be heading towards violence in 2024, Trump said, "I can say this. There is a level of passion that I've never seen. There's a level of hatred that I've never seen and it's probably a bad combination."
