BREAKING: Two American Hostages Released By Hamas But More Remain Captive

On Friday, two US citizens whom Hamas took hostage following the deadly attack in southern Israel on October 7th that led to over 1,400 Israelis and 32 Americans massacred were released. It is likely that a number of American hostages still remain in the terrorists' custody.

"In response to Qatari efforts, we released two American detainees (a mother and her daughter) for humanitarian reasons, and to prove to the American people and the world that the allegations of Biden and his fascist administration are false allegations that have no basis in truth," the terrorist organization said in a statement.

In an Oval Office address to the nation on Thursday night, President Biden vowed to return American hostages home, and the Department of Defense has sent US special forces operators to assist the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) with rescue operations.

Despite this, the State Department announced that there are 20 or more Americans unaccounted for following the Oct. 7th attack but that not all of those unaccounted for could be hostages.

However, Sen. Jim Risch (R-ID) told reporters on Tuesday that there are at least 10 Americans held hostage by Hamas. That number has seemingly gone down to at least eight after the release of the mother and daughter, per Reuters

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.
