According to Fox News, the TikTok post of the Rainbow Oaks restaurant in Fallbrook garnered multiple hyperbolic comments offered breathlessly and unironically from left-leaning users. One said the moment would be their "worst nightmare," another added "that's terrifying," while yet another claimed "this feels like a horror movie.
The owner of the eatery, Jeanene Paulino told Fox & Friends Wednesday that the complaints were all about getting attention.
She explained to co-hosts Todd Piro and Ashley Strohmier,
"I feel like, if we take a few minutes out of our day to be grateful for the men and women who have made the sacrifices so that we can stand up and say how we feel and she said how she felt."
"And I wish she realized that it's because those men and women who made those sacrifices that she was able to do that," she said referring to the woman who made the post.
According to Fox News in a later report, Republican Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio applauded Paulino for her efforts saying, "The Left wants a California restaurant to stop playing the national anthem each day. The owner said NO WAY! God Bless her."California: Liberals are in uproar over Rainbow Oaks Restaurant in Fallbrook playing the National Anthem everyday.

"I think maybe they're not focusing on gratitude," she told Fox News. "This particular TikToker had seen a local news post, so she probably did it for attention."
The custom of playing the national anthem each day has been ongoing for years at Rainbow Oaks Paulino said, and she's proud to carry it on.
"I come from a long line of patriots, so I was thrilled to keep the tradition going. No, we won't be stopping," she said.
