Bishop REMOVES Catholic Status From Woke Liberal School

As we reported earlier this month, Bishops are taking action against woke Catholic congregants left and right these days. Take this Bishop’s punitive action against notorious liberal Nancy Pelosi:

“A Catholic legislator who supports procured abortion, after knowing the teaching of the Church, commits a manifestly grave sin which is a cause of most serious scandal to others. Therefore, universal Church law provides that such persons ‘are not to be admitted to Holy Communion,’”

He barred the speaker of the house from receiving communion! That is his duty as a shepherd of the flock after all. And that’s only the beginning. Congregants are also no longer buying the fact that liberals like Pelosi are “very Catholic” people.

These figures are holding the feet of the liberal politicians to the fire. Abby Johnson laid down the law last month in the most savage way possible earlier this month:

“While this news has taken a much longer time than I had hoped, I could not be more elated as a practicing Catholic that Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco has finally barred Speaker Nancy Pelosi from receiving the most Precious Body and Blood of Jesus in Holy Communion. Her reception of Holy Communion has been an ongoing scandal for many years.”

And Bishops are no longer accepting the “Catholic” status of “very Catholic” schools. The Nativity School of Worcester, a private Jesuit middle school, has been remarkably woke recently. As Breitbart reports, the school has flown BLM and LGBTQ+ flags in the past. And the Bishop Robert McManus contends, these flags are incompatible with Catholic teaching:

“it is my contention that the ‘Gay Pride’ flag represents support of gay marriage and actively living a LGBTQ+ lifestyle.”

And

“The Catholic Church teaches that all life is sacred and the Church certainly stands unequivocally behind the phrase ‘black lives matter’ and strongly affirms that all lives matter… However, the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement has co-opted the phrase and promotes a platform that directly contradicts Catholic social teaching on the importance and role of the nuclear family and seeks to disrupt the family structure in clear opposition to the teachings of the Catholic Church.”

He makes a compelling argument. As a result, he made a decree that will surely have the world talking:

“As Diocesan Bishop, it is my sacred duty and inherent responsibility to determine when a school claiming to be “Catholic” is acting in such a way that is contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church and disregards my legitimate authority as the guardian and overseer of Catholic education in the Diocese of Worcester… I… Decree and declare the following:  The Nativity School of Worcester is prohibited from this time forward from identifying itself as a “Catholic” school and may no longer use the title “Catholic” to describe itself”

We applaud the decision. Wokeness and Christianity are diametrically opposed to one another. We need more ministers to take action against woke ideology — for the sake of Christ’s Church Militant.
