Chris Pratt is a devout Christian. As you might expect, that has gotten him in a great deal of trouble. Being a public Christian in 2022 is difficult, and you have a target on your back. As Ellen Page, who now identifies as Elliot, said of him in 2019:

“If you are a famous actor and you belong to an organization that hates a certain group of people, don’t be surprised if someone simply wonders why it’s not addressed. Being anti-LGBTQ is wrong, there aren’t two sides. The damage it causes is severe. Full stop. Sending love to all”

Mind you, this was simply for Chris Pratt attending Hillsong Church, a popular Evangelical Church in Los Angeles. His attendance at said church is apparently a sign of his hateful mentality towards the LGBT community. What these Hollywood figures really hate is Christianity and Christians as a whole.

Chris Pratt has never personally said anything which could reasonably be construed as anti-gay. But similar to the uproar around the “Don’t Say Gay” bill in 2021, the left will just lie when they want to tarnish the reputation of someone.

Traditional values are an important part of society. Whatever one’s stance is on a divisive issue like homosexual marriage, it is ironic that the “tolerant Left” will not tolerate different viewpoints. They are literally canceling Chris Pratt for attending a church that holds a view that the sitting US President held only a decade ago, give or take.

With controversy again unfolding due to Chris Pratt’s role in the new Thor film, James Gunn, director of the Guardians of the Galaxy series in which Pratt stars in as the character of Star-Lord, signaled his support for the divisive star:

That is a knockout blow to the unsubstantiated Leftist attacks which have been launched at Pratt and celebrity figures of like mind. He has the support of his director James Gunn. Hollywood will continue to try and cancel us Christians and us Conservatives. But if we fight back and make friends with those outside of that spectrum (James Gunn is no Conservative), we can win the day.
