Disgraced Former CNN Anchor Gets Hit With Dose Of Reality When He Realizes How Much Time New Job Required

Ousted CNN Anchor Chris Cuomo reportedly tried to become an East Hampton Volunteer Fireman earlier this year, only to withdraw after learning of the excessive time requirements that come with the job.

Cuomo, “applied for a volunteer position with the East Hampton Fire Department earlier this year, but his application was withdrawn a short time after meeting with chiefs, two people familiar with the matter told Confider,” The Daily Beast reported.

“Cuomo, who shares a home with his wife Christina Cuomo in extremely prestigious Southampton, seemed ‘eager’ to become a member of the all-volunteer squad, according to our sources, but balked at the time commitment.” The Beast added.

“It’s a very time-consuming thing,” East Hampton Chief Duane Forrester told Confider. “There are monthly meetings and drills, and you have to meet a percentage of your calls. That’s why we don’t have many celebrities.”

The brother of former disgraced New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo should have more free time on his hands after being released from his old network back in late 2021. He was allegedly let go for helping his brother dig up dirt on women who were accusing the former Democrat governor of sexual assault, according to documents from The New York Attorney General’s office.

Chris himself was a vocal proponent of the #MeToo movement, per The Washington Post, so his hypocrisy is as clear as day. He believes all women — except when they accuse his brother.

A blue-collar job might not be a good fit for Cuomo after all. He seems too preoccupied with throwing his old friends under the bus and demanding $125 million from his old network, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A vindictive mindset has never helped anyone, but at least today, it looks like the East Hampton Fire Department will not be receiving the coveted services of the lesser Cuomo brother. We hope Chris will offer his talents to the world in other ways, just not on network television.
