On Monday, it was announced that Tucker Carlson will be leaving Fox News with the host’s final show being last Friday, April 21st.
“Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the network said in a statement, according to Forbes.
“We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” Fox continued in its statement. “Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday, April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.”
In response to the shocking news, however, dozens of conservatives came out to praise Carlson for his kind hearted spirit and the various instances in which he reached out to little known reporters or activists to given them encouragement to keep up the fight.
“Tucker is one of the most genuine, kindhearted, and authentic people I ever had the honor of meeting,” wrote LibsOfTikTok founder Chaya Raichik. “Him and his team embraced and supported me throughout my journey of running LoTT and being doxed. I’m excited to see what he does next, I know it will be great!”

“A good measure of character & humility in a public figure is the time they’re willing to spend to help those “without status.” I’ve encountered some who only associate as long as it benefits their brand or project,” wrote journalist Andy Ngo. “Tucker Carlson is one of the kindest public people who helped me over the years unconditionally. I’ve seen him do this for others as well. I’ll miss watching him on Fox News, but I’m excited about whatever he’ll do next.”

James O’Keefe, the founder of Project Veritas and president of O’Keefe Media Group, also shared photos of him and Carlson hunting in July 2020.

“In addition to being the most important conservative voice in America, Tucker Carlson is also a genuinely good person as anyone who has ever had a conversation with him knows,” Greg Price wrote with a video of Carlson fly fishing in Central Park. “This legendary video also demonstrates that.”

“Tucker Carlson once called me, out of the blue, because he had heard through friends that I was going through a rough patch,” wrote Nate Hochman. “We had never spoken before, but he took 45 minutes out of his night to offer support/advice. It remains one of the most surreal experiences of my life.”
“One of the most powerful men in conservative politics took the time to sit down and call some random 23 year old kid he had never met — just to tell him to hang in there, and to ask if there was anything he could do to help,” the young writer explained. “It’s something I will never forget.”

“Tucker sent me a text message out of the blue several years ago just to tell me he appreciates my work,” wrote The Daily Wire‘s Matt Walsh. “I had a much lower profile back then. I didn’t think he even knew who I was. He took the time to track my number down and reach out. Very few people like that in this business.”
“Extremely rare that someone much higher on the totem pole will send you a word of encouragement when they stand to gain nothing from it,” Walsh continued. “There are only a few people in the business who will do something like that and one of them is Tucker Carlson. Great talent and a good man.”

“When I first moved to DC, [Tucker Carlson] heard it was my first Thanksgiving away from home. I had just gone through a divorce and my kids were on the other side of the country,” wrote Larry O’Connor. “He invited me to his home and I enjoyed Thanksgiving with his father, his wife, his children and his dogs. They treated me like I was a part of the family. It turned what would have been a sad and lonely day into one I’ll never forget. His family is full of joy and love and laughter. Tucker is the winner today.”

With Tucker Carlson’s departure from Fox News, it is clear that he will be successful in whatever venture he decides to pursue. Conservative activists, media personalities, and millions of Americans have his back given his kind hearted spirit and intellectual firepower.
