Razor Company Cancels Conservative Advertiser – So Conservatives Form Competitor Company To Teach Them a Lesson

On Tuesday, the Daily Wire, the popular conservative news and media company founded by Ben Shapiro and Jeremy Boering, launched a razor company called Jeremy’s Razors.

As a part of the launch, the Daily Wire showcased an advertisement that included Boering driving a McLaren, firing a flamethrower, and telling the audience to “Stop giving your money to people who hate you. Give it to me.”

The new company launched a year after Harry’s Razors pulled their advertising from the Daily Wire after an anonymous Twitter user, with only two followers at the time, complained about views expressed related to gender identity on a Michael Knowles podcast, one of the political commentators employed by the Daily Wire, from 2018.

In a statement, Boering stated that “I’m really tired of woke corporations bending the knee to tyrannical nobodies — to anonymous Twitter accounts with two followers”

He continued by saying “we’re taking on Harry’s because Harry’s decided conservatives don’t deserve great razors. Harry’s clearly wants you to know you’re not welcome in their world. Well, we want you to know you’re welcome in ours.”

The launch of Jeremy’s Razors comes after the Daily Wire launched a multi-million-dollar advertisement campaign which included billboards in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, and Texas along with a social media campaign

Along with the launch of the company, Boering released an episode of his series “Enough” in which he stated that “to win, we have to rip the economy in two. We have to give conservatives their own companies and their own products to buy. We have to build market alternatives that, in success, will force the Left to take real losses if they don’t compete directly for our business.”

He continued by stating “If we want to win, we have to compete. And competition means building a future, not just lamenting the loss of the past.”

“It means fighting in the economy and culture, not just complaining about the economy and culture. And it means starting for-profit companies that create economic incentives for better behavior. That’s what animates me. That’s what drives The Daily Wire. That’s the real fight,” 

The Daily Wire has increasingly been entering new industries with the launch of DW Books last October and the creation of original movies like ‘Shut In’, ‘Run Hide Fight’, and a new movie releasing this summer called ‘Terror on the Prairie’ starring Gina Carano, the former Mandalorian actress who was let go from Disney after comments on social media.
