WATCH: Democrat State Senator Caught Red Handed After Keying Car With 'Biden Sucks' Sticker, Will Face Consequences

Last week, a Rhode Island Democrat state senator was arrested by authorities after he allegedly keyed a car that had a "Biden sucks" sticker on the back of it.

The 69-year-old Democrat, Joshau Miller, can be seen in security footage released by the local police department of Cranston, Rhode Island vandalizing the vehicle in the Garden City Center on Thursday, as reported by Fox News Digital.

"The vehicle's owner and passenger stated that they parked near the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream store and walked away from the vehicle to shop," the Cranston Police Department explained in a press release. "They stated that when returning to their vehicle, they heard a loud scratching noise consistent with someone keying a vehicle."

The victims then explained that they saw Miller on the passenger side of the vehicle before he quickly walked away with a "keychain and gripping a single key."

When officers arrived on the scene, they initially were unable to locate Miller, however, the Democrat eventually showed up two hours later to his vehicle which was parked beside that of the victims.

"The Officer advised Mr. Miller he was investigating a crime. When presented with the allegation, Mr. Miller denied damaging the vehicle and alleged that the person parked beside him had verbally threatened him," the report said, adding that the victim then identified Miller as the perpetrator.

After the authorities reviewed security footage from the shopping center, Miller attempted to change his story and argue that the victim had "dared" him to do it.

After admitting to the crime, Cranston Police took him into custody and he has been charged with vandalism/malicious injury to property.

"Nobody is above the law," Cranston Police Colonel Winquist said in a statement, adding, "including those who make and enforce the laws. The Officers who handled this investigation did so with fairness, integrity, and without preferential treatment. I would expect no less from the fine men and women of the Cranston Police Department."

It is good to see that despite Miller being a member of the state legislature, he is not above the law.
