WATCH: DeSantis Drops Bombs on Woke Disney Execs Opposed to His Anti-Groomer Bill

Ron DeSantis is America’s Governor. The Florida Republican, like President Trump, has taken a beating from the mainstream media. The media does not appreciate the man’s voice, whether it be on COVID policy, critical race theory, or illegal immigration. And it is no wonder why they have expressed so much disdain. He is the Governor who will not cower, the one who will not apologize. It reminds them of a figure they have since censored, and who they desperately want the world to forget about — Donald Trump.

Fortunately for America, they have not succeeded in taking away the platform of Governor DeSantis. What they have done is lie about what his administration promotes and promulgates. He is not anti-vaccine, he is anti-mandate. He is not racist, he is opposed to the racist critical race theory. He is not opposed to immigration, but rather, illegal immigration. And he is not currently pushing a bill called the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. He is, very prudentially, supporting a piece of legislation that effectively stops groomers in their tracks. These are all good things. But the Left stands opposed to all that is good, true, and beautiful. Anyone who reminds the American people of these sacred truths and the ground of all sacred truth is an enemy of the public, a hater of mankind.

Disney has, with abundant media pressure, condemned this alleged “Don’t Say Gay” bill. As a family company with a sizable presence in Florida (including Disney World in Orlando), you would expect Disney to stay quiet, if not outright supporting the legislation. Unfortunately, you would be wrong. DeSantis was having none of this. He pounces on their attack with fire and fury. Here is the transcript:

“The chance that I am going to back down from my commitment to students and back down from my commitment to parents’ rights simply because of fraudulent media narratives, or pressure from woke corporations, the chances of that are zero. 

When you have companies that have made a fortune off being family-friendly and catering to families and young kids, then they should understand that parents of young kids do not want this injected into their kids’ kindergarten classrooms. They do not want their first graders to go and be told that they can choose an opposite gender. That is not appropriate for those kids. And so, if you are family-friendly, you understand, that the parents, who are actually raising families, want to have their rights respected.”

The Governor continued:

“And I also think that you have companies like a Disney that are gonna say and criticize parents’ rights … if that’s the hill that they’re gonna die, how do they possibly explain lining their pockets with their relationship with the Communist Party of China. Because that is what they do. They make a fortune and don’t say a word about the really brutal practices that you see over there at the hands of the CCP.”

The Governor concluded:

“And so in Florida, our policy is based on the best interest of Florida citizens; not on the musings of corporations.”

The Governor stood up for children. They need our protection most of all. And we are happy to see the Governor, unlike the Democrat party at large, is an advocate for their well-being.
