Casey DeSantis Gives Heartwarming Anniversary Note to Husband Ron

On Monday, America’s favorite couple celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary with both Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and his wife Casey giving heartfelt messages to one another.

“Happy anniversary @RonDeSantisFL, thankful for every day with you,” Florida’s First Lady tweeted, adding, “you’re an amazing dad, best friend, and the greatest Governor in America! Love you!”

Since their marriage, the DeSantis’ have had three children, two daughters named Madison and Mamie and a son named Mason. The governor has been spotted repeatedly enjoying time with his family while in the governor’s mansion and on the campaign trail.

The tweet from Casey DeSantis came just after the governor wished a happy anniversary to his better half on Monday morning.

The DeSantis family has gotten increasing attention from across America, particularly during Casey’s recovery from a breast cancer diagnosis late last year.

“I have a positive update about my wife Casey DeSantis. After going through both treatment and surgery for breast cancer, she is now considered cancer free,” the governor announced earlier this year. “All of you who have given thoughts and prayers to my family and my wife, thank you. It’s lifted her spirits and made a tremendous difference.”

“For all the women out there who are going through breast cancer right now – you can overcome this,” he continued. “I know it’s very difficult, but my wife is proof positive, and this is the exact type of news we had hoped for. She still has more to do, but I’m confident she’s going to make a full recovery. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.”

The DeSantis’ have been through a tough year and thankfully they are able to celebrate yet another wedding anniversary and hopefully many more to come.
