'Both Are Corrupt': Hunter And Joe Biden Get Terrible News After Devon Archer Testimony Transcript Released

The transcript of the testimony of Devon Archer against Hunter and President Joe Biden was released early on August 3rd by the House Oversight and Reform Committee. Archer's testimony revealed that Hunter had his father with him on speakerphone during approximately twenty business calls with partners and Burisma officials, dashing Joe Biden's claims that he was uninvolved in his son's business dealings. Archer testified that Hunter brought the "Biden brand" to the firm, and without it, "Burisma would have gone out of business."

It was further revealed that Burisma did not want Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired claiming to have him "under control," according to The Washington Examiner.

“My only thought is that I think Burisma would have gone out of business if it didn't have the brand attached to it. That's my, like, only honest opinion,” Archer told the House Oversight Committee.

“The capabilities to navigate D.C. that they were able to, you know, basically be in the news cycle. And I think that preserved them from a, you know, from a longevity standpoint.”

Archer added that having the "Biden brand" on Burisma's side made others "intimidated" and shielded it from legal action. He further noted that the "Biden brand" referred mostly to then-Vice President Joe Biden who "brought the most value to the brand."

“Well, I think there was — there are particular, you know, objectives that Burisma was trying to accomplish. And a lot of it's about opening doors, you know, globally in D.C. And I think that, you know, that was the, you know — and then obviously having those doors opened, you know, sent the right signals, you know, for Burisma to, you know, carry on its business and be successful,” Archer observed.

Across X App (formerly Twitter), many analysts and commentators have reacted to the damning testimony.

Collin Rugg of Trending Politics noted, "When Joe wasn’t serving as VP he was saving a Ukrainian oil company. Makes sense. 'My only thought is that I think Burisma would have gone out of business if it didn't have the [Biden] brand attached to it,' Archer said. For those keeping track: We went from ‘Joe never spoke with Hunter about business’ to ‘Joe Biden’s brand saved Burisma from going out of business.’"

The House Judiciary Committee drew attention to testimony that appears to implicate Biden for bribery writing, "Then-Vice President Joe Biden attended dinners with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates who wired money to Biden associated LLCs"

As David Harsanyi wrote for The Federalist, the testimony of Devon Archer lays bare, "The notion that Joe was completely in the dark about the family racket has been buried under mounds of convincing circumstantial evidence. Either the then-vice president allowed himself to be used in creating the 'illusion' that Burisma and others were obtaining something of great value in return for enriching his family, or he exerted the force of the U.S. government to enact policy that helped enrich his family. Both are corrupt."
