Disney Continues To Embrace Wokeness, Hires Transgender Actor For Upcoming 'Star Wars' TV Show

Disney hasn't had enough of ruining the Star Wars franchise, deciding to top their previous horrendous casting decision by hiring a transgender actor, Abigail Thorn, to play a female role in their upcoming Disney+ show ‘The Acolyte.’

Screenrant broke the news of the 30-year-old British man receiving the role in the 2024 series. The series is set to take place in the High Republic Era of Star War, which is a century before ‘Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace' takes place.

Thorn himself is a YouTuber and playwright who works on producing the Philosophy Tube channel on YouTube, a channel that he established back in 2013 to share philosophy ideas and lessons due to the declining college attendance for the subject. 

This is far from the first LGBTQ casting that Disney and LucasFilm have made. Another actor for ‘The Acolyte’ is non-binary actor Amanda Steinberg. Another project, ‘Ironheart,’ casted Zoe Terakes, a transgender and non-binary (not sure how that works) actor, for an unknown role as of this report.

Their liberal agenda doesn’t just extend to the silver screen, as a ‘Star Wars’ comic in 2021 featured and celebrated two “trans-non-binary” characters named Terec and Ceret in its comic book series ‘The High Republic,’ which the aforementioned show will be set around. The official ‘Star Wars’ Instagram account even shared the news.

“In honor of #TransDayOfVisibility we’re proud to unveil an exclusive cover highlighting Terec and Ceret, trans non-binary Jedi, currently featured in Marvel’s ‘The High Republic comic,’'' the post read. “We support trans lives and we are passionate and committed to broadening our representation in a galaxy far far away.”

Disney has had numerous failures when attempting to force LGBTQ members into their media. From ‘Lightyear’ featuring a gay kiss that led it to completely bomb at the box office to ‘Strange World’ showcasing a same-sex romance and seeing similar failures. Disney has yet to have even a single successful piece of media that features an aspect of the alphabet soup.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Disney's turn to wokeism has led to the company losing nearly a billion dollars on its latest films.

Of course, Disney likely isn’t concerned with profits as much as they are pushing their beliefs onto children. It seems modern companies are more than happy to lose millions, even billions of dollars, just to groom children into the cult of LGBTQ insanity.
