'The Essential Church' Documentary On Covid Lockdown Defiant Pastors DOMINATES The Charts, Reaches Number One On iTunes

A documentary titled The Essential Church, which focuses on three Christian pastors who defied Covid-19 lockdowns for the sake of their congregation, released earlier this week and has already became on the most popular films in the country.

According to the movie's website, the film is described a three pastors facing down years in prison and "unlimited fines" when they decide to reopen their churches during the draconian Covid-19 lockdowns.

The film has already become a hit by reaching the top spot on the Apple iTunes chart in the documentary category. "[The Essential Church] came out October 3rd on iTunes and as of today is the #1 movie in the documentary category!" The Essential Church X/Twitter account wrote. "Thank you all for supporting our film."

As reported by Breitbart, the film follows the stories of Los Angeles' Grace Community Church’s John MacArthur, Canada's Fairview Baptist Church pastor Tim Stephens, and Canada's GraceLife Church pastor James Coates.

"Amid health and political uncertainty, the church files a lawsuit to protect their God-given rights. Facing fines and jail time, the church learns what is truly at stake," the Grace Productions studio says about the film.

"This feature-length documentary explores the struggle between Church and government throughout history," the company adds. "This story takes us to multiple countries and uncovers those who have sacrificed their lives for what they believe in."

The documentary also goes into a discussion of the scientific evidence of how lethal and contagious Covid-19 is particularly for younger Americans as it rejects the notion that the virus affects every person the same.
