Over the weekend, Donald Trump spoke with Matt Boyle about several different topics, including how President Joe Biden is the “most corrupt president we’ve ever had” and how it is necessary for Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to step down from his position in the Senate considering his declining health.
Trump spoke with Boyle at Breitbart News and talked about the immense corruption that the Biden administration is currently seeing.
“I took the name off Crooked. We call her Beautiful Hillary now because, you know, that one’s over with and the word Crooked I think was very pertinent,” Trump said. “It was a very good word for Biden. He’s Crooked. He’s the most corrupt president we’ve ever had—and he’s also the worst president we’ve ever had.”
“You look at what happened in Afghanistan, you look at inflation, you look at the economy, you look at what’s going on—no, he’s the worst president we’ve ever had in our country,” Trump said. “You look at our border. Millions and millions and millions of people are pouring into our country. Nobody knows who they are. But they’re from prisons, from mental institutions, and there are terrorists—and they’re coming in. Millions of people and they don’t know.”
Of course, Trump covered the recent Hunter Biden scandal and praised Judge Maryellen Noreika for her handling of the case.
“They gave him a traffic ticket for which other people suffered greatly, many other people with the same kind of thing,” Trump said of the deal prosecutors tried to offer Hunter Biden. “I don’t think there’s ever been anything like this because there’s so many different elements but he was given a traffic ticket and the judge was—she is a brilliant woman and she was, I think, very indignant about it. I don’t think she was happy about it.”
Trump also lamented about the ‘sweetheart deal’ that Hunter Biden was given, something that even the Justice Department themselves said was unprecedented.
“That speaks for itself that they actually admitted there’s never been a deal like this one before,” Trump said. “Yeah, I mean, sweetheart—it’s beyond sweetheart. Nobody even understood the deal. The judge was the one that really figured out the deal. They were not telling the judge. I think the prosecutors and the others, they may or may not have understood it together but they certainly seemed to have a different take on it. But the judge understood it better than they did. She wasn’t happy about it.”
Boyle also asked the former president how he would handle the illegal dealings of the Biden family if he was elected president again in 2024. Trump was a little hesitant in his answer, noting how it was a “little early” to make any definitive statements, but did make sure to state he would ensure justice is found.
“I probably shouldn’t talk about that now. It’s a little early,” Trump said. “But you can’t allow this stuff to go on—this is terrible what’s happening and so bad for our country. Getting money from other countries—Ukraine, China, and many other countries. Then you wonder why are we putting up all the money in Ukraine? Why isn’t Europe putting up the money? The European Union is putting up just a tiny fraction of what we’re putting up and it affects them much more. Maybe, is this the reason why? Because they’re getting a fortune from Ukraine? They’re getting a fortune from China. Look at the money that they’re being paid by China—and this all being found out by the Republican Congress, the committees. This is peanuts compared to what they seem to be ready to find out.”
“No, this is terrible that a thing like this could happen and yet they go after the Republican. Since the day I came down the escalator, they’ve been doing this stuff, whether it’s Russia, Russia, Russia, the Mueller witch hunt which turned out to be totally no collusion after two years. No, it’s a very sad thing. What they do and what they’re doing to our country is very, very sad. But it’s actually a crime family. I have such respect for the judge because she called it out. I mean, a lot of people, they always said it’s a rubber stamp, it’s a rubber stamp whoever gets it. She didn’t view it as a rubber stamp and I just have such respect for her.”
Trump also didn’t only point his words against Democrats. The New York City mogul was asked about the recent health scare that was caught on TV where Senate Leader Mitch McConnell froze up and had to leave early, per the DC Enquirer.
“I thought it was sad,” Trump said. “At the same time, I think it’s a shame he went so far out to give Green New Deal money to Biden and Democrats. He got 10 people to vote because they needed 10 people, and he got 10 people to vote on numerous occasions for trillions of dollars. I think that’s a shame. But that was too bad. That was a sad thing to see. He had a bad fall, I guess, and probably an after-effect of that. But it was also sad that he gave trillions and trillions and trillions of dollars to the Democrats to waste on the Green New Deal, destroying our oceans and destroying our great, beautiful vistas and plains all over our country with windmills that are very expensive energy. So that’s a very sad thing also.”
Trump added that McConnell needs to step down from his position, saying, “We have to have that. No, we have to have that. We have some people in the Senate that are fantastic and would be great at that position. But it’s just amazing he [McConnell] would do that — but at the same time, I hope he’s well.”
Trump clearly intends to bring a lot of change if he were to be elected president. From leadership in the executive office to leadership in Congress, it’s obvious that the former president is not satisfied with how the country is operating right now.
