Dr. Ronny Jackson SLAMS FBI Director In New Trump Health Update Following Assassination Attempt

On Friday, Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX), the former White House physician, released a health update for 45th President Donald Trump following the attempt on his life two weeks ago that resulted in a wounded right ear. The doctor's report also pushed back on recent attempts by some left-wing commentators and even FBI Director Christopher Wray that suggest that a bullet didn't hit Trump.

"I have reviewed President Trump's medical records from Butler Memorial Hospital, where he was initially evaluated and treated for a 'Gunshot Wound to the Right Ear,'" Jackson stated in his letter, noting his previous medical expertise in the US Navy. "Based on my direct observation of the injury, my relevant clinical background, and my significant experience evaluating and treating patients with similar wounds, I completely concur with the initial assessment and treatment provided by the doctors and nurses at Butler Memorial Hospital on the day of the shooting."

The Texas representative then took the time to debunk any potential theories or suggestions, such as those made by FBI Director Christopher Wray, that Trump was struck with anything other than a bullet at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. "During the Congressional Hearing two days ago, FBI Director Christopher Wray suggested that it could be a bullet, shrapnel, or glass. There is absolutely no evidence that it was anything other than a bullet," Jackson explained. "Congress should correct the record as confirmed by both the hospital and myself. Director Wray is wrong and inappropriate to suggest anything else."

In response to Director Wray's comments, President Trump took to Truth Social to condemn the testimony and the FBI's investigation of the shooting. "FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn't sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively 'uneventful' - Wrong! That's why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels. His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments - with zero retribution. No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a 'bullet wound to the ear,' and that is what it was. No wonder the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!"

A recent visual investigation by The New York Times entitled "Speculation Swirls About What Hit Trump. An Analysis Suggests It was a Bullet" came to the same conclusion on Rep. Jackson. The Times investigation concludes, through analysis of bullet trajectories, footage, photos, and audio, that Trump was grazed by the first bullet fired by the shooter, Thomas Crooks. The Times report explained that the confusion on what hit the former president was caused by the Trump campaign's unwillingness to produce medical records or a briefing from the 45th president's personal doctor.
