On Monday, New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) doesn’t seem to have any sort of plan to solve the massive migrant crisis that is sweeping through the Big Apple, instead warning citizens that it would be coming “to a neighborhood near you” and slamming President Biden for not doing enough to assist the sanctuary city.
The mayor discussed a video showing insane numbers of illegal immigrants sleeping on cardboard boxes outside of Roosevelt Hall, which has been turned into an intake center for the vagabonds. The video showed droves of migrants cramped together unable to get proper shelter in the Big Apple.
“Eventually this is going to come to a neighborhood near you, and it is — 91,000 people,” Adams said, warning citizens of the impending doom the city faces, per the New York Post. “We need to localize this madness,” he added, without stating how he intended to do that.
“We have to figure out a way of how we don’t have what’s in other municipalities, where you have tent cities all over the city,” he continued. “We have to figure out how we’re going to locate the lives of the inevitable, that there’s no more room indoors, and we have to figure that out, and that’s what I’ve got the team working on right now.”
“It’s not going to get any better – from this moment on is downhill,” Adams said, as though it hasn’t already been downhill for the city for weeks now. “I was at the Roosevelt on Saturday. And I went there on Sunday, people lined up around the block, hurting the businesses there. … We put buses there for cooling systems, but it’s just not sustainable.”
After his tirade of fear-mongering the already horrified New York City citizens, Adams began discussing how the White House is failing to aid the liberal city with its hordes of migrants. He specifically found an issue with the struggle to find migrants work within the Big Apple.
“Having someone embedded is a good start,” Adams said. “We want to thank them. But I have been very clear on what we need: We need to allow people to work. There’s nothing more anti-American than you can’t work! We need to control the border.”
Nothing Adams said really rang true until that last part, “We need to control the border.” Perhaps the incapable mayor is finally awakening to the idea that rather than having the federal government send him billions of dollars to house and feed migrants that have no right to be in the country in the first place, the federal government should be managing the border properly and ensuring only legal immigrants cross over.
It’s unlikely things will get any better in the city soon as insane numbers of migrants continue to illegally cross the American southern border every day. The only way for New York City to ever regain its order and get the hoards of illegals off of its streets is to have the border closed and send all the illegals back to where they came from. Until then, New York City will continue spiraling until it reaches a point of no return.
