ESPN Personalities Take Action, Come Out Against Biological Men Competing In Women’s Sports

Earlier this week, ESPN personalities Samantha Ponder and Saige Steele voiced their opposition to biological men competing in women’s sports.

Ponder, who hosts ESPN’s ‘Sunday NFL Countdown’, tweeted, “This would take away so many opportunities for biological women and girls in sports. It is a shame that we are needing to fight for the integrity of Title IX in 2023 and the reason it was needed in the first place. #savewomensports“

She also retweeted fellow ESPN host Saige Steele, who said, “This is heartbreaking, maddening, and really difficult to watch. I keep thinking I’m going to wake up and be relieved that this was all just a ridiculous, comical, nonsensical dream…. #IStandWithRileyGaines #savewomensports #TitleIX @Riley_Gaines”

This was all in response to Riley Gaines, the former NCAA swimmer who competed against transgender swimmer Lia Thomas. Gaines attacked Thomas for not being concerned about women.

“Under the guise of competitive fairness? Are you really trying to say you would have won a national title against the men? Does it not break your heart to see women lose out on these opportunities? The Biden Admins proposed bill denies science, truth, and common sense,” Gaines tweeted.

This is not the first time Steele, in particular, voiced her support for Riley Gaines. Earlier this month she tweeted, “Stay strong  @Riley_Gaines_ …you have more people than you know supporting you & standing up to this madness.”

Steele also tweeted, “After an incredible weekend of well-deserved publicity for female athletes, I hope that ALL women–including my peers in the media–come together & support ALL female athletes..before it’s too late.  @Riley_Gaines_ shouldn’t be standing alone!!”

Saige also retweeted Gaines in March. “I’m so overjoyed to see more and more people feeling comfortable in publicly acknowledging how harmful the gender ideology propaganda being pushed really is (especially to women and children). Keep being bold and loud. We are the overwhelming majority,” Gains tweeted.

More and more Americans are rejecting the radical gender ideology of the far left voices of the Democrat Party. And it is truly breathtaking to behold.
