EXCLUSIVE: Trump-Endorsed Brandon Gill Endorses America First Candidate Bob Onder For Congress

On Thursday, Trump-endorsed TX-26 Republican nominee Brandon Gill announced his endorsement of conservative fighter Dr. Bob Onder in his campaign for Missouri's 3rd congressional district. Dr. Onder, a former Missouri Freedom Caucus Republican who served in the state Senate from 2015 to 2023, faces a contested primary on August 6 against multiple other candidates.

"Dr. Bob Onder is the America First conservative we need in Congress," Brandon Gill said in a statement. "I look forward to serving alongside Dr. Onder in Washington to take on the Swamp and help President Trump pass his America First agenda. Dr. Onder is the MAGA candidate in MO-03, and that's why I'm endorsing him!"

Dr. Onder, who joined the race in February, is seeking to replace retiring Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO), who announced his retirement earlier this year. The Missouri congressional candidate is known for his robust support of pro-life legislation in the state legislature and outstanding conservative record. The physician's congressional run is his second attempt at a seat in the House of Representatives after failing to beat Leutkemeyer in 2008 for Missouri's 9th congressional district. 

"Washington, DC, has never been more broken than it is right now," Dr. Onder stated when he announced his candidacy. "Throughout my public service, I have stood up to Democrats and my own party establishment to get things done, and with our country at such a critical juncture, that is why I want to go to Washington to represent Missouri's 3rd District."

The open seat has led to multiple candidates entering the race, including former state Sen. Kurt Schaefer, state Rep. Justin Hicks, and others. Gill's endorsement in the race is the latest attempt by the Trump-endorsed congressional nominee to promote America First candidates in Congress and state-level races in the Lone Star State.

"I am honored to have the endorsement of America First Brandon Gill," Dr. Onder said in a statement. "I look forward to working alongside Brandon in Congress to pass America First legislation that will help President Trump Make America Great Again." In addition to Gill's endorsement, the Missouri Right to Life PAC endorsed the ex-officio member of the Missouri Freedom Caucus.

Missouri's 3rd congressional district covers a large swath of central Missouri, spanning from the Mississippi River in the east to the Lake of the Ozarks in the west. Republicans have held the seat by wide margins for the past decade, meaning a primary victory in August would be paramount to winning the seat outright.
