On Friday, FBI Director Christopher Wray finally agreed to hand over to the House Oversight Committee, led by Chairman James Comer (R-KY), the document that a whistleblower alleges outlines President Biden's bribery scheme during the Obama administration.
The possession of the document, FD-1023, will likely bring a number of shocking revelations forward when Wray produces the document on Monday to the committee.
This comes after a closed-door meeting on Wednesday between Rep. Comer and Director Wray. During that meeting, it was confirmed that the agency possesses the elusive informant file that proves links between President Joe Biden and a $5 million bribery scheme. The Justice Department has not denied these claims but this was the first time it has openly admitted to the existence of the file.
“Today, FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national. However, Director Wray did not commit to producing the documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee,” Comer's Wednesday statement read.
Comer has made it clear that the documents needed to be provided to Congress, adding “Director Wray – after a month of refusing to even acknowledge that the form existed – has offered to allow us to see the documents in person at FBI headquarters, we have been clear that anything short of producing these documents to the House Oversight Committee is not in compliance with the subpoena.”
The Kentucky Representative previously released a statement on the matter Tuesday, writing, “The FBI’s decision to stiff-arm Congress and hide this information from the American people is obstructionist and unacceptable.”
“If the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena, the House Oversight Committee will begin contempt of Congress proceedings,” the message read.
Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) also released a message in the statement, slamming the FBI for “treat[ing] Congress like second-class citizens by refusing to provide a specific unclassified record.” Grassley also warned the FBI of what is to come, finishing with “This failure comes with consequences.”
The lengths the FBI and the Justice Department will go to to protect the Biden family crime syndicate is absolutely jaw-dropping and appalling. If the Justice Department is unable to serve justice equally to every American citizen then it has failed its very duty and does not need to exist. Justice cannot be fueled by political beliefs and it must be blind to the status of any individual. Hopefully, now that the document will be turned over to Congress, the American people will get the answers they deserve.
