'Fight For Your Rights': Rapper Ice Cube Rails Against Cancel Culture - 'To Hell With The Consequences'

The acclaimed actor and musician Ice Cube made a bold statement on Fox Nation's 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' when he called upon the American people to rebel against the social phenomenon of 'Cancel Culture.'

In a lengthy conversation with Morgan, Fox Nation's controversial host from the United Kingdom, Ice Cube enlightened him about the nature of the cultural and political divide afflicting our country.

"People are very polarized in all kind of ways. People are afraid to speak out because of the cancel culture that we have today. So I just think people are afraid, and they're running to their corners," he said.

Morgan responded by calling the phenomenon of 'Cancel Culture' a "cancer," according to Fox News and Ice Cube agreed.

"It does [behave like a cancer], because it makes not only the person that's getting canceled, they're trying to shut them up, but anybody's watching nowadays shut up, because they say if it can happen to this guy, it can happen to me," he said.

Ice Cube experienced some 'Cancel Culture' backlash of his own in 2021 when he stepped away from a Sony Production called 'Oh Hell No' with Jack Black when he was pressured to subject himself to the MRNA COVID-19 vaccine, and declined according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Speaking of the lost role worth some $9 million he said he had "Not one regret."

"Your health is worth more than all the money in the world. Because if you had all the money in the world and you wasn't healthy, you'd use that money to get healthy. So to me, it was an experimental drug. And They had no time to really see the long term effects. Like most, I'm vaccinated, I been vaccinated when I was a kid. But these are drugs that are tested for decades. And you know pretty much all of the side effects."

He told Morgan that the fight against cancellation starts on the individual level.

"Say what you want to say, and to hell with the consequences," Ice Cube said. "You got to be willing to fight for your rights and fight for what you believe in. And if you're a person who believes in freedom of speech, you have to fight and say what you feel and let the chips fall where they may and stand on that."

He concluded, "It may not be an easy road, but I think you feel better about yourself when you say what needs to be said at the time it needs to be said, and not afterward, where you go home and think, ‘I should have said this when that guy was there’ or 'when I was there, I should have said that and I didn't.' That haunts you more."
