Trump 'Had Our Country In A Better Place': Former NFL Quarterback Brett Favre Praises Trump - 'He Cared About You'

Brett Favre, former NFL quarterback and Hall of Fame member, stated that the United States was a “better place” when Donald Trump was president rather than current President Joe Biden.

Favre spoke of his political opinions with Jason Whitlock on the 'Fearless' podcast, where he made it clear he isn’t a “Republican, Democrat, or Independent,” but instead just someone who individually makes decisions.

“I think our country was in better shape with him…” the former quarterback stated. “I think Donald was a non-political president, and I liked that about him. Was he perfect? Absolutely not. Am I perfect? Absolutely not. I’m flawed just like the rest of ‘em. We’re all flawed. But I really felt like he had our country in a better place and really cared about our people in our country.”

Favre wasn’t shy of his criticisms of the former president either, saying that he didn’t agree with “everything Donald Trump does or says” and especially disliked his use of Twitter while in office.

Even through his critique of Trump, Favre still advocated for Trump. “Black, white, Hispanic, Asian – you name it. I think if you were an American citizen, he cared about you, first and foremost. I don’t know if our current president has the same mentality.”

Former President Donald Trump wasn’t the only thing Favre discussed on the podcast, also hopping into the issue of transgenders and their place in both bathrooms and sports. Favre was adamant that biological men have no place “us[ing] the restroom with girls.”

"To think that a young man who identifies as a girl, I don't understand it — just hear me out — can go into a girl's bathroom and use the restroom with girls, and for us to think that's OK, I think is wrong. I'm sorry…" the Hall of Famer stated. "I just think some things we're allowing in this country are beyond belief… Some of the thoughts and beliefs we're seeing are crazy."

Favre was also able to provide a good perspective on the debate of transgenders in sporting events as a career athlete himself. The accomplished football star was quick to agree with podcast host Whitlock on biological men having no place in women’s sporting events.

The Super Bowl XXXI winner encouraged athletes to speak up for themselves and women’s sporting events even if they are intimidated by the woke mob.

"I think maybe the vast majority are afraid of what it'll do to their career. And it's not affecting them directly. Not yet, at least. Who knows where this country's going? It may affect them somewhere down the road. Is it too late? I don't know. It's scary."

It’s clear Brett Favre is a man of common sense, both disagreeing with the ever-inept Joe Biden and the idea that biological men have any reason to be participating in women’s sporting events.
