Evangelist Franklin Graham Concludes Border Tour With Hundreds Giving Their Lives To Jesus Christ - 'Believe In The Name Of His Son'

Renowned evangelist Franklin Graham has been touring the southern border in recent weeks for his 'God Loves You Frontera Tour', and on Thursday, his event in Yuma, Arizona, saw hundreds of people accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The thousands of worshippers joined together at the Yuma County Fairgrounds beginning at 6:30 PM MST to be led in worship by renowned musicians Dennis Agajanian, Marcos Witt, and Taya. "We witnessed an incredible night in the Arizona desert as God moved in many hearts and lives," Graham wrote on Facebook. "It was the 9th stop of our God Loves You Frontera Tour, and we were thankful to see over 7,600 people pack into the Yuma County Fairgrounds to hear the Gospel proclaimed. Hundreds came forward at God's invitation to confess their sins, surrender their lives to Him, and believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ."

"The Bible tells us, 'If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' (1 John 1:9)," he added. "What a promise!"

Graham also posted photos of the event, which showed families gathered together for prayer and thousands in the crowd worshiping the Lord. Previous locations in the tour, which began on February 24, that spanned the 1,254-mile US-Mexico border included Brownsville, McAllen, Laredo, Eagle Pass, Del Rio, Presidio, El Paso, Tucson, and Chula Vista.

The tour's objective was to bring a message of hope to the border as the ongoing humanitarian crisis brings devastating consequences to border communities. The events featured both English and Spanish musicians and included live interpretations of Graham's message in the Spanish language. "I can't think of another region of the nation that needs hope more than this one. Everyone along the border is overwhelmed—churches, law enforcement, residents, as well as the people coming into our country," the 71-year-old evangelist said about the tour. "I'm coming to the border to tell everyone about God's Son, Jesus Christ, and how He can make a difference in our lives."

Graham's tour partnered with multiple local churches in each city that he visited to grow local ministries, encourage further church attendance and strengthen community bonds. The Frontera tour was the latest of Graham's touring successes, having completed tours in 77 cities across 28 states since 2017, which has resulted in over 34,000 people accepting Christ into their lives.
