WATCH: Riley Gaines BLASTS Transgender Swimmer Lia Thomas During Eye-Opening New Interview

On Tuesday, former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines blasted Lia Thomas for his remarks surrounding the participation of biological men in women’s sports.

“The first sentence you said, I believe it was, Lia Thomas is quoted saying, you know, ‘It breaks my heart to see trans kids lose out on opportunities.’ Replace that with the word ‘woman.’ Does it still break Thomas’s heart to see women lose out on opportunities? Because that’s what’s happening,” Riley Gaines told Piers Morgan on his TalkTV show ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored.’

“From my experience competing against Lia Thomas at the national championships, I watched first-hand women lose out on opportunities. I watched women not become All-Americans, missing that eighth and 16th place by one place because they were displaced by a male. This, of course, goes against everything that Title IX was created to protect, and now we have the Biden administration, the people in the White House, who are actively working to rewrite Title IX,” Gaines added.

This is not the first time Gaines has spoken out against Thomas in particular. Last month Gaines weighed in on a documentary about Thomas that ESPN was making, writing on Twitter, “Lia Thomas is not a brave, courageous woman who EARNED a national title. He is an arrogant, cheat who STOLE a national title from a hardworking, deserving woman. If I was a woman working at ESPN, I would walk out. You’re spineless @espn #boycottESPN

This comes after Piers Morgan defended Gaines during a Friday appearance on HBO’s ‘Real Time with Bill Maher.’

Responding to radical leftist Congresswoman Katie Porter (D-CA) — who accused Gaines of exploiting her predicament to get ‘likes and clicks’ — Morgan said, “All I’ve seen her do is stand up for women’s rights to fairness and equality. She actually competed against Lia Thomas and it was obviously unfair. Lia Thomas won one of the races in the NCAA Championships by 50 seconds against a bunch of biological females who simply couldn’t keep up. It cannot be right. It cannot be fair… I think she’s speaking up for pretty much every female athlete in the world.”
