Have You Had Enough of Woke Companies? New Survey Shines A Light on How Americans Feel

A decade or two ago the average consumer would’ve been hard-pressed to find a company that outwardly conveyed its own political views publicly. However, now many companies have gone woke in an attempt to pander to the leftist mob.

Companies like Target, Starbucks, and Barnes & Noble are just a few of the companies that have chosen the leftist agenda over the complete satisfaction of the consumers they’re supposed to be serving.

In a statement obtained by Breitbart from RedBalloon CEO Andrew Crapuchuttes, a company that helps employ job seekers, he said the following:

“It used to be that Hollywood was the primary promoter of leftist ideology in America,” he continued “But, the frontlines of the culture war have advanced into the workplace, and many companies believe they are the vanguard of the left and must push woke values on their employees and customers, even though most Americans disagree.”

A recent poll shows that customers are sick and tired of dealing with the political weaponization of companies to push certain ideological views. The survey conducted by the Trafalgar Group showed that 78 percent of consumers would rather do business with a company that maintained political neutrality.

But consumers aren’t the only ones who have voiced their displeasure with the rise of woke progressivism even beyond its use by corporations throughout America. Co-Founder of Home Depot Bernie Marcus weighed in on the issue last December, remarking that he was “worried about capitalism,” and that “Capitalism is the basis of Home Depot [and] millions of people have earned this success and had success. I’m talking manufacturers, vendors, distributors, and people that work for us [who have been] able to enrich themselves by the journey of Home Depot. That’s the success. That’s why capitalism works.” Marcus concluded by saying that “the woke people have taken over the world.”

The culture war that is being waged in America is undoubtedly being fueled by the powers that be both in corporate America as well as in Washington D.C. Many have acknowledged the threat that the woke culture agenda poses to not only the economy but to the everyday freedoms enjoyed by the average American.
