Hawley: Biden Admin ‘Endangering Children And Sending Them To Slavery’ – Demands Impeachment

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO), known for his acerbic wit and incisive style of cross-examining Senate witnesses and nominees, joined Fox News Channel‘s Laura Ingraham on ‘The Ingraham Angle’ and leveled devastating fire at President Joe Biden’s border policies which he described as “endangering children and sending them to slavery.”

According to a report from Breitbart News, on the topic of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Hawley responded that he needs to resign or be impeached.

Hawley levied the accusation against Biden and Mayorkas that they are not tracking 345,000 children who have crossed into the U.S. illegally only to be placed with smugglers and forced into modern child labor, according to The Washington Examiner.

“They are willing to sacrifice kids into a life of slavery if that serves their purpose to have an open border,” Hawley explained. “Mayorkas has facilitated the biggest child smuggling and trafficking operation in American history.”

Breitbart reported that Ingraham asked, “Senator, how’s that all going, all their worksite investigations?” And in short for Mayorkas and President Joe Biden alike, the situation went from bad to worse as Hawley gathered momentum.

“Yes, here is the real truth, Laura: Out of those 345,000 kids who have come across the border unaccompanied in just the last couple of years, Biden administration has completely lost track of almost 90,000 of them,” Hawley answered.

“So, that’s how it’s going. 90,000 kids, they don’t even know where they are. So, this — it’s a joke. There is no enforcement. They haven’t reunited any kids with their families, and they’re not even trying to, Laura. They don’t care. They’re willing to do anything to see the border be wide open. And if that means kids in slavery, they’re there for it.”

Ingraham didn’t settle for merely letting Hawley opine though. The Fox News host pressed, “Senator, what’s next? You’re not going to get him to resign. The country is being overrun by criminality, the cartels, illegal immigrants, now children suffering. So, can you do anything without a Republican President?”

“He will have to be impeached,” Hawley told Ingraham. “The House of Representatives can impeach him, and that will send a message, Laura. We can have an impeachment investigation. Listen, we’ve got to send a clear signal that if you’re not willing to enforce the law and you are endangering children and sending them to slavery, we are not going to stand for it in the United States of America.”
