'Invasion By Design': House Democrats Unanimously Reject Adding Citizenship To Census

On Wednesday, House Democrats voted unanimously against adding a citizenship question to the U.S. Census that would prevent counting illegal immigrants from being counted. The bill would ensure that noncitizens do not sway redistricting and the Electoral College, given that both are determined by the population data collected by the Census every decade.

The Equal Representation Act passed 206 to 202 along party lines with not a single Democrat willing to ensure that only American citizens are taken into account when determining how many representatives and electoral college votes each state gets. The unanimous opposition to the bill comes as President Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats continue to allow for an open southern border that has led to millions of migrants being released into the country.

The legislation, introduced by Rep. Chuck Edwards (R-IL), has over 100 co-sponsors, according to The New York Post. "Including the count of non-US citizens in determining how many congressional seats and electoral votes each state has is skewing the representation of Americans in their federal government," Edwards said about the legislation. "The mere presence of illegal immigrants in the U.S. is influencing electoral outcomes, and the Equal Representation Act that the House passed would protect our democracy by making sure that American citizens – and American citizens only – have a say in determining the direction of our country."

In a post that got over 61 million views, former Trump advisor Stephen Miller explained that  "House Dems just voted UNANIMOUSLY to give illegals representation in Congress AND the Electoral College," former Trump advisor Stephen Miller wrote on X. "House Seats and Electoral College votes WILL BE added to areas with the most illegals (including all Biden illegals) unless Senate passes the bill. Invasion by design."

The legislation is expected to be dead on arrival in the Democrat-controlled Senate. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) argued that the Constitution prohibits not counting every "person" living in the country.  "If we were being cynical politically, we would embrace this legislation because it's the red states like Texas in Florida, whose congressional delegation is already inflated by virtue of counting people who are not citizens," Raskin said. "We're simply trying to follow what the Constitution says, which I know is kind of a radical proposition around here these days."

The 14th Amendment of the Constitution states, "Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State."

Democrats have always sucked big fat hairy nutz. We had to fight those assholes just to stop them from owning slaves and letting them be free. Now, Democrats are trying to trash everything about this country in spite. Why blacks vote for them shows you why giving them positions of power using DEI is fucking stupid. Would you vote for YOUR owner if you were a slave? Uh huh...me either.
