Republicans Are Taking Action After Informant Alleges Joe Biden Involved In Foreign Pay-to-Play Scandal

The investigation into President Joe Biden is heating up with Congress examining revelations from a whistleblower alleging that the then-Vice President was involved in "a bribery scheme with a foreign national" where he sold the power of his office for cash, according to Just the News. A joint letter by Representative James Comer (R-KY), Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, and Senator Charles Grassley (R-IO), Ranking Member of the Senate Budget Committee, was sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray that had bombshell allegations attached to it.

The two Republicans wrote, "We have received legally protected and highly credible unclassified whistleblower disclosures. Based on those disclosures, it has come to our attention that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) possess an unclassified FD-1023 form that describes an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions. It has been alleged that the document includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose."

The letter frustratedly revealed that it is "unclear what steps, if any, were taken to investigate the matter" and noted the public perception of the FBI and DOJ was that of politically biased institutions. The lawmakers informed the two agencies that Congress would take up the task of reviewing the matter since the public has lost trust in these federal law enforcement agencies.

Mr. Comer, upon annoucing a congressional subponea, remarked that "The information provided by a whistleblower raises concerns that then-Vice President Biden allegedly engaged in a bribery scheme with a foreign national." He noted that "The American people need to know if President Biden sold out the United States of America to make money for himself. Senator Grassley and I will seek the truth to ensure accountability for the American people."

Representative Scott Perry (R-PA), a member of the Oversight Committee, also told Just the News that "What I would hope to hear is, look they're going to cooperate fully. And they're going to urge the FBI to make sure that the documents are released to the House, because if you haven't done anything wrong, you certainly want that information to be out there to prove that you haven't done anything wrong. This is a very significant allegation the American people need to know. But what I suspect is that the FBI is going to stonewall and not want to provide this information."

Senator Grassley told the press that "we have very credible information" about this criminal activity and expressed his concern that the White House will try to classify the damning document detailing this criminal act to escape Congress's subponea of it. The senator warned that "they [the White House] better not because I know it is a non-classified document but they could keep me from getting it by classifying [it]."
