'It Makes You An A**hole': John Fetterman Doesn't Hold Back On Anti-Israel Demonstrators

Following nationwide anti-Israel protests on Monday, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), a staunch supporter of Israel, took to X to slam progressive activists in his own party that actively disrupt the lives of everyday Americans as they commute to work, try to make a flight, or simply enjoy a drink at their local Starbucks.

In response to a clip where an anti-Israel agitator told patrons at Starbucks, "Starbucks, Starbucks, you can't hide, not 'til we free Palestine," the Pennsylvania Democrat didn't hold back. "I don't know who needs to hear this, but blocking a bridge or berating folks in Starbucks isn't righteous, it just makes you an asshole," Fetterman wrote. "Demand Hamas to send every hostage back home and surrender." Fetterman's takedown went viral on X, receiving over four million impressions and over 45,000 likes.

Demonstrators nationwide disrupted the lives of thousands of Americans, with the most infamous taking place in San Fransisco. Ceasefire activists there shut down the Golden Gate Bridge, causing traffic to be stopped for several hours. Demonstrations also occurred in Oakland, California, O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City, and other major cities.

According to Fox News, Fetterman's home state saw a large protest on Monday in the Philadelphia neighborhood of Center City. Demonstrators were seen waving Palestinian flags and blocking I-95. Local authorities made 67 arrests.

The demonstrations were part of the A15 protest, which is meant to be a worldwide economic blockade to raise awareness for Palestinians, stop US support for Israel, and advocate for an arms embargo. According to ABC 7 News, the Oakland Economic Blockade Against Palestinian Genocide has launched protests in 56 cities across the globe.

The demonstrations come after Iran launched over 330 projectiles at Israel, including ballistic missiles and drones, over the weekend. Israeli defenses, with the assistance of the American, British, French, Jordanian, and Saudi militaries, were able to intercept 99 percent of the projectiles, leading to only minimal damage to a military base in the south of the country. The attack came after Israel assassinated military officials of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps who assisted in the planning of the brutal October 7 attack by Hamas. The Israeli government has yet to respond to the unprecedented assault on its soil. Still, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant told Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on Sunday that his nation would have no choice but to respond.
