JD Vance, Charlie Kirk SLAM Kamala Harris After Haitian Migrants Allegedly Kill Family Pets In Small Town Ohio

On Sunday, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk highlighted the impact of mass immigration on the small town of Springfield, Ohio, claiming that some of the 20,000 Haitian migrants that came to the town in recent years have begun to exhibit bizarre behavior, including attacking and eating family pets.

"Residents of Springfield, OH are reporting that Haitians are eating their family pets, another gift of the Biden-Harris mass immigration replacement plan," Kirk posted to X. "Liberals will soon be lecturing Americans on why they need to be sensitive to Haitian culture and accept this as the new normal. Those idiots deserve to be condemned and mocked mercilessly. Save our pets. Secure our borders."

Kirk backed up his claim by posting a screenshot of a post on the Springfield Ohio Crime and Information Facebook page that served as a warning to residents to keep an eye on their pets. "Warning to all about our beloved pets and those around us. My neighbor informed me that her daughter's friend had lost her cat. She checked pages, kennels, asked around, etc," the post reads. "One day, she came home from work, as soon as she stepped out of her car, looked toward a neighbor's house, where Haitians live, and saw her cat hanging from a branch like you'd do a deer for butchering and they were carving it up to eat. I've been told they are doing this to dogs, they have been doing it at Snyder Park with the ducks and geese."

The Facebook post also comes after local residents voiced similar concerns during recent local meetings. During a recent city commission meeting last month in Springfield, a local man pleaded with local officials to take action amid the influx of Haitian migrants to the town. "I really challenge you guys to get out here and do something. These Haitians are running into trash cans, running into buildings... they're flipping cars in the middle of the streets," he said. "They're in the park, grabbing up ducks by their neck, and cutting their head off and walking off with them. They're eating them."

Video of a police encounter in Stark County, Ohio, also went viral on social media on Sunday after bodycam footage was released showing the arrest of a 27-year-old woman for killing and eating a cat. The woman, Allexis Telia Ferrell, was charged by authorities with injuring animals, prohibitions concerning companion animals, and disorderly conduct. The woman allegedly killed the cat by stomping on its head, and then she proceeded to begin eating the corpse "in a residential area in front of multiple people."

The uproar on social media led Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance (R-OH) to speak out about the issue and blame Vice President Harris for the chaos. "Months ago, I raised the issue of Haitian illegal immigrants draining social services and generally causing chaos all over Springfield, Ohio. Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn't be in this country. Where is our border czar?"

This isn't the first time that Vance has spoken out about the influx of Haitian migrants to Springfield. In July, he told the National Conservatism Conference, "Go to Springfield, go to Clark County, Ohio, and ask the people there whether they have been enriched by 20,000 newcomers in four years. You don't have to believe, of course, that the 20,000 newcomers are bad people. In fact, I imagine that many of them are very good people. But my interest is not in protecting the good people of another country, I'm a Senator for the state of Ohio, our leaders have to protect the interests of this country and the fact that this has happened is evidence that they're not."
