America First Kari Lake Terrifies Democrat Opponent Who Refuses to Debate Her

Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D-AZ) is running for Governor and she is facing tough competition — MAGA Patriot Kari Lake. As Real Clear Politics notes, the race is neck and neck with no clear frontrunner. Indeed, the two competitors have identical polling averages.

With such a small spread, one might expect Hobbs to welcome a Gubernatorial debate — where she can gain some much-needed space in the polls. But Hobbs is not taking that option, declining the offer put forward by the Lake team. And her reasons will surely shock you.

On Hobbs’s campaign website, campaign manager Nicole DeMont posted the following explanation for Hobbs’s move to not participate in a televised debate:

“Secretary Hobbs remains willing and eager to participate in a town hall style event, such as the forum she participated in last week in which Arizonans were able to hear directly from Sec. Hobbs about her in-depth policy plans and how she would approach governing this state.” The statement read.

“Unfortunately, debating a conspiracy theorist like Kari Lake – whose entire campaign platform is to cause enormous chaos and make Arizona the subject of national ridicule – would only lead to constant interruptions, pointless distractions, and childish name-calling. Arizonans deserve so much better than Kari Lake, and that’s why we’re confident Katie Hobbs will be elected our next governor.”

DeMont ended by saying, “we must respectfully decline the invitation.”

That response was insane but not unexpected. There is a long-standing tradition on the Left of ignoring the other side. The Left will not debate because they know they have no real solution to America’s troubles. Trump wanted to Make America Great Again — he had a vision, and he executed it near-flawlessly. On the other hand, the Left hides its real goals behind appeals to equity and social justice. Their real goal is socialism. And that is no conspiracy theory; after all, you have President Biden tweeting out that the “millionaires and billionaires” are the problem — mimicking notorious socialist Bernie Sanders.

If you’re a cop, teacher, or steelworker, you shouldn’t be paying two to three times the rate that millionaires and billionaires are paying in federal taxes.

All in all, Hobbs’s move was absolutely precedented by the cowardly Democratic Party. And come election day, it could cost her dearly, as a red wave sweeps across our great nation.
